About this project

Who makes this site

Timesheetcalculator.co is an independent browser-tool project maintained by Yang Qingmang. It helps people check manually entered working periods and take a readable copy of the result. It is not an employer, an attendance service or a payroll company. The public site address ends in .co, not .com. Use the full address when returning to the tools or discussing a calculation so that a similar domain does not become the source of confusion.

Why the calculations stay inspectable

The tools show day totals, separate weekly overtime, decimal hours and the inputs behind them. A missing clock-out is excluded with a warning rather than guessed. Paid and unpaid breaks remain separate, and split periods do not automatically receive another lunch deduction. These choices make a result easier to question and verify. They do not establish that a source record is accurate or that a payroll rule applies to a particular person.

What the project does and does not collect

Calculation entries are processed locally and saved in the browser profile you use. This version does not upload those entries to a calculation service, require an account or include analytics and advertising scripts. Ordinary hosting requests still involve request metadata, and a full-card link intentionally contains records for the recipient. Read the Privacy page for the distinctions between browser storage, exported files, link sharing and information you choose to email.

Methods and corrections

The Methodology page explains the formulas, rounding order, workweek grouping and limitations. The project uses simplified arithmetic rather than tax calculations, employee classifications or complete state-specific payroll rules. If an example behaves unexpectedly, send the Contact page an anonymous reproduction with times, break settings and the expected result. Do not send unnecessary employee names, banking details or payroll documents. Verified source records and the appropriate official correction process remain separate from this tool.
