Calculation data stays on your device
Clock times, break classifications, dates, rates and calculation settings are processed in your browser. This implementation does not submit them to a server for calculation. It has no account system, employee directory, analytics script, advertising script or embedded attendance service. Opening the site still downloads its pages and code from a host; ordinary server requests can include technical metadata such as an IP address, browser information and request time. Local calculation does not mean the initial page request is anonymous.
Local browser storage and removal
Each tool can retain its card under this site’s localStorage key, with separate profiles for the calculators. This is browser storage, not a cloud account or a guaranteed backup. Clearing site data, changing profiles, private-session cleanup or replacing a device can remove it. Reset removes the current tool’s saved card and URL state while preserving other tool profiles. Another person using the same browser profile on a shared device may be able to see locally saved entries.
Files, clipboard and sharing links
CSV downloads remain files on your device, and copied summaries enter the clipboard under your control. Settings links carry readable options in the query, including an hourly rate when supplied; those options can appear in request logs. Full-card links put compressed records in the #s= fragment, which is not sent as part of the ordinary HTTP request or Referer header. Fragments are not encryption: anyone with the full link can decode the records. Weeks saved outside the active card are kept local and excluded from full-card links. Review what a link or export contains before distributing it.
Questions sent by email
If you choose to contact the maintainer, the message and any included example are handled by the email providers involved. That is a separate disclosure from using the local calculator. Prefer anonymous reproduction steps and avoid unnecessary personal, payroll, identity or banking information. A local Reset does not remove a file you downloaded, clear another application’s clipboard history or recall a message or link you already shared. For questions about the site’s current data behavior, use the Contact page.
Scope of this notice
This notice describes the current implementation, including local saving and deliberate sharing. It does not promise that a hosting provider keeps no technical logs or that a shared link is access-controlled. If new integrations, analytics or account features are introduced, this notice should be reviewed before those changes go live. Check the page when deciding whether the tool fits the kind of records you intend to handle, and keep sensitive official records in an appropriate system.
